Therapeutic Mentoring

This program is designed for youth aged 10 to 21 years. It utilizes evidence-based interventions to address problematic behaviors that place the child at risk of being displaced from the home and supports re-entry from placement out of the home.

Our mentors work with the parent or caregiver and child to develop a specialized treatment plan to address individual problematic behaviors that impact the home, school, and community spheres. Therapeutic mentoring supports education in basic living skills, connection to community resources and positive self-esteem development. This training service is aimed at improving the well-being of youth by establishing a sense of safety, identifying impulsive behaviors and controlling compulsive symptoms. This service also empowers the client and family to improve their collective environment.
