F.I.R.S.T. Steps Academy
The F.I.R.S.T. Steps Academy is an ABA-based after-school program designed for children in grades K-6.
We provide structured academic support, behavioral strategies, and social development activities to help students thrive.
Social Skills Group
Our Social Skills Groups focus on building essential peer interaction skills, communication, and emotional regulation. Led by experienced professionals, these groups create a structured environment for children to practice social engagement in a fun, supportive setting.

Day Program
Early intervention is a vital part of helping children with autism grow and develop. Our full day for children ages two to six is an intensive, comprehensive, personalized and fun therapeutic program designed to help children thrive. Your child will take steps towards learning the important skills needed for a more independent life, and your family will gain knowledge to continue the learning at home and beyond.

F.I.R.S.T. Steps Academy
Day Program
F.I.R.S.T. Steps Academy is an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) after-school program specifically tailored for children with autism in grades K-6. Our primary objective is to enhance adaptive behaviors associated with academic tasks, promoting functional independence and academic success.

We are excited to now offer in-house Speech and Occupational Therapy services, exclusively for students enrolled in the F.I.R.S.T. Steps Academy After-School Program.

F.I.R.S.T. Social Skills
Group
Social Skills Groups are designed to empower children and young adults with vital life skills. Guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and supported by a team of dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), our groups are designed to cultivate growth, communication, and meaningful connections.
The curriculum revolves around the development of conversational, friendship and problem-solving skills. Utilizing evidence-based practices and engaging activities, participants find a supportive environment to enhance their social abilities including: following rules, interpersonal skills, friendship, self-regulation strategies, communication, problem-solving, safety, building relationships, personal care.
